MAMMOTH™ MUMS
Finally! Truly winter hardy garden mums! MAMMOTH™ MUMS have been specially bred by the University of Minnesota to withstand Z3-4 winters. These are perennial mums and you’d be hard pressed to find hardier garden mums anywhere on earth.
Bred for the landscape, by the 2nd and 3rd years they will produce thousands of flowers with an eventual width of 3’-4+’across. They can be planted as individual specimen plants (fall-flowering shrubs) or used in mass plantings. MAMMOTH™ MUMS can even be grown as a seasonal hedge that blooms each fall. These are minimal care: no pinching, no pruning, and no deadheading.
